What we collect
When you fill in the "Get connected" form, we collect the information you give us: your name, your contact details (WhatsApp / phone and email), your medical scheme and plan, and a short description of the item you need.
Why we collect it
So a medical-supply vendor can contact you to arrange the purchase or claim. That is the entire purpose. We do not build a profile, send marketing, or sell your data to a list.
Who we share it with
We share your details with the medical-supply vendor most likely to be able to help (the "Featured Supplier" shown on the coverage results page, or one we route you to manually). That vendor may pay CoveredMed a referral fee — your usage of CoveredMed itself is free. We only share once you have explicitly ticked the consent box on the form.
What you can do
Under POPIA you can ask us at any time to see what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email maryjane@nanoleap.co.za and we'll action it within a reasonable time.
Accuracy of coverage information
The coverage figures on CoveredMed are sourced from published scheme rules and are indicative only. They may be out of date or differ for your specific plan year. Always confirm coverage directly with your medical scheme before purchasing. Nothing on CoveredMed is medical or financial advice.
